Gil

Gil GutierrezGil Gutierrez was born with nothing but common sense and a desire to succeed. This self described workaholic turned his love for cars into a family business, doing what he truly enjoys: "Fixing stuff that's broke." He left his native Texas in 1972 for a four year excursion on the USS Albany CG10 and later settled in the Leesville Road area to raise his family.

Turning wrenches since his apprenticeship at the age of 13, Gil discovered the intricate world of transmissions in 1976 and has since specialized in servicing and rebuilding them. He loves what he does, providing exceptional customer service and solving problems, and this is reflected in hundreds of five star ratings and reviews he has received.

This Caniac follows Eric, Jeff, Cam and the boys every chance he has, and invites you to come and experience what your neighbors are talking about, the absolute best in customer service at DAUNTLESS TRANSMISSIONS.

Max

MaxAboutMax Gutierrez, Leesville Road High School class of 1998, spent his early years in and around cars. He built a Custom Camaro in his junior year at Leesville, and spray painted it with a flawless White Pearl, Ghost Flame. Max used this work as the basis for his Senior Thesis.

Max learned electrical diagnostics first, using the Snap on Brick. Later he moved up to the Modis Automotive Diagnostic Scanner which provides him with information he uses to troubleshoot a wide range of automotive problems. Max truly loves the challenge transmissions provide, but is experienced and comfortable with every part of your car. His reward is the satisfaction of a job well done.

Max is a gearhead in every sense of the word. In his spare time, Max enjoys off-road 4 wheeling, camping, hunting and fishing North Carolina gamelands.  He is very fond of the famous "Big Red" soda, that he first tasted in his home state of Texas, and supports the NC State Wolfpack and the Carolina Hurricanes. Go Canes!
